Here are my top 10 most anticipated movies for the rest of 2009.



11. Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakouel

(As an extra) Surprisingly liked the first one, which I thought
was cute, funny, and entertaining. This sequel
looks even better.

10. The Lovely Bones

Peter Jackson is directing and Mark Wahlberg

is starring. Enough said.

9. A Christmas Carol

Jim Carrey is excellent in these roles,

and this movie is going to be very

creative.

8. Where the Wild Things Are

Loved the book, so I obviously really

want to see this movie.

7. 9

PG-13 animation? Very rare.

But this movie looks like

one of the most inventive

and brilliant animated movies

of all-time.

6. 2012

Really like the director, who made

Independence Day and the Day

After Tomorrow, and this movie

looks like his best one yet.

5. Avatar

James Cameron is one of the best

action directors of all-time, and this

movie looks brilliant and magical.

4. Surrogates

Bruce Willis is one of my favorite

actors, and Surrogates looks like

an amazing and thrilling sci-fi

action thriller.

3. The Box

Based on the trailers, this

movie is going to be an

intense and riveting sci-fi thriller.

2. Sherlock Holmes

Robert Downey Jr. playing Sherlock

Holmes? The trailers make this

look a terrific action picture, so

I can't wait to see the Iron Man star

play a great action hero.

1. G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

I've said this a million times before

but I'll say it again: I've wanted to

see this right after the Super Bowl

Spot. Good early reviews, spectacular

trailers, and cool characters make this

my most anticipated movie for the rest

of 2009.
