The Good: The action is amazing, of course. Not only that, though, it's intense and exciting. It kept me on the edge of my seat and was just about perfect

Liam Neeson does a great job. Acting is pretty hard in action movies, but he pulls it off really well.

The film knows what it's doing. This movie has probably one of the best monologues in an action movie I've ever seen. LIAM NEESON: "I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have any money. But what I do have, are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you. I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you. I will find you. And I will kill you." BAD GUY: "Good luck."

The story is brilliantly executed. It makes you feel for Liam Neeson, and makes you hate the bad guys.

The Bad: Actually, nothing bad at all. Absolutely nothing.

Overall: Believe it or not, this is the best action movie I have ever seen. Amazing action scenes, superb job by Liam Neeson, great story, brilliant movie. Right up there with the Dark Knight, my favorite movie, in my opinion. The Dark Knight may be my favorite movie, but Taken is the best action movie I have ever seen. Definately buying this movie on Blu-Ray, easily the best movie of the year so far, and #2 on my top 10 favorite movies of all-time list! For the second time in my life, after the Dark Knight, I'm giving Taken a 10/10.
