Thanks for checking out my High School Musical 3: Senior Year review!
(Before I start, walking into this, I was not all that excited. I thought the first High School Musical was great, but the 2nd one was bland and shallow. So I wasn't that excited.)
The Good: This movie had very good music. A lot of songs were catchy and good.
The dancing was really good. In fact, there were a couple times where I said "WOW! That's cool."
I loved the drama in this movie. Very dramatic, especially Troy's song, but I can't tell spoilers.
This movie was occasionally VERY funny.
The Bad: This movie is pretty bland. It really wasn't that different from the other High School Musicals. HSM 3 is kind of repeating the series altogether.
The Acting is not that good. Zac Efron was pretty average, and the rest of the cast was just not that good.
Overall: I think this is the best HSM yet! HSM 3: Senior Year is energetic, funny, dramatic, and has great songs and choreography. I really think you'll be surprised, fan or not! I really liked this movie. 8.5/10

I hope you had a fun birthday celebration, that was a lot better than a party, right? I loved the movie. I also didn't think the 2nd HSM was bland and shallow. It was fun. The 3rd was better, though, I agree with you there!! I love you, and am glad you chose to go to that movie. Happy Birthday! Love, Mom
