My Birthday On Halloween!

Guess what? My birthday is on Halloween in 2 days! I can't wait. Casey (my cousin) has a birthday also on Halloween. And then, 2 days after Halloween, it's Skyler's birthday.

I'm going to be 13, and so is Skyler. Casey is going to be 10. I can't wait for this day!

Just the news, folks. My birthday is the day after tomorrow!

High School Musical 3 Review

Thanks for checking out my High School Musical 3: Senior Year review!

(Before I start, walking into this, I was not all that excited. I thought the first High School Musical was great, but the 2nd one was bland and shallow. So I wasn't that excited.)

The Good: This movie had very good music. A lot of songs were catchy and good.

The dancing was really good. In fact, there were a couple times where I said "WOW! That's cool."

I loved the drama in this movie. Very dramatic, especially Troy's song, but I can't tell spoilers.

This movie was occasionally VERY funny.

The Bad: This movie is pretty bland. It really wasn't that different from the other High School Musicals. HSM 3 is kind of repeating the series altogether.

The Acting is not that good. Zac Efron was pretty average, and the rest of the cast was just not that good.

Overall: I think this is the best HSM yet! HSM 3: Senior Year is energetic, funny, dramatic, and has great songs and choreography. I really think you'll be surprised, fan or not! I really liked this movie. 8.5/10

The Good: This game is the best action game ever made! Here's why: You can go in slow motion when you shoot something, and you can dodge bullets in slow motion! There's much more action, but you should check out the game!

Max Payne Review

Well, I did it folks. I saw Max Payne today. I've been dying to see this action flick based on the trailers.

Here's the synopsis:

"Maverick cop Max Payne (Wahlberg) is hard on revenge against those responsible for the brutal murder of his family and partner. His obsessive investigation takes him on a nightmarish journey into a dark underworld. As the mystery deepens, Max is forced to battle enemies beyond the natural world and face an unthinkable betrayal."

The Good: The best thing by far about this movie was the ACTION! For Pete's sake, this was no shaky camera like we get now a day. This action was great and spectacular, with explosions and everything you can think of! Oh my gosh, my favorite part were the scenes that had bullet time. Bullet time is when you follow each bullet they shoot to show where the land exactly. Those were great in slow motion.

Mark Wahlberg was a great Max Payne in this movie. (Too bad it's the only good performance)

The story was the most shocking. Based on the trailers, this looked like a nonstop stupid action film, but believe it or not, this actually had more story in it than action. I'm so glad that this was a smart story to go along with the action.

The bad guy was the least that I expected, but I can't give a spoiler right now.

The Bad: This movie had NO ENDING! They leave you hanging at the end. (Minor Spoiler: You don't know what happened to the girl in it). This just left you hanging.

The other performances (besides Mark Wahlberg's) were poor. They didn't really have good acting in this movie.

Overall: A surprisingly smart, well-thought, dark, video game movie with intense, violent, and great action sequences. One of my favorite films of the year, and I'll probably see it again! I give it a 9.5/10.

Seeing Max Payne Today!

I'm so excited to see this movie! It looks like it has great action sequences, with a good story and visuals that are amazing! I'll give you my review as soon as possible!

The Bourne Identity Review

Thanks for checking out my Bourne Identity review.

The Good: The action was spectacular! Explosions, martial arts, fist-fights, car chases, and more! This was an action-packed movie!

The Acting was surprisingly deep and emotional. Matt Damon, especially.

The movie was intense and thrilling! Movies a lot of times bring you down with TOO much action, that you get bored by it. With this, it isn't!

The Bad: There could've been more Bourne scenes, instead of the FBI scenes.

Overall: 9/10! The Bourne Identity is an intense, violent, and thrilling movie in which that started on one of the best action-thriller series of all-time! The Bourne Series. A must-see!

Watching Movie Tonight!

Eagle Eye Review

Thanks for checking out my Eagle Eye review. Here it is.

The Good: The suspense was very thrilling and quick. I really liked how they filmed this with such drama and thrill.

The acting was very great. Shia Lebeouf, Michelle Monaghan, Billy Bob Thornton, and Rosario Dawson are especially great.

The action, was intense, realistic, and thrilling.

The story was unlike any other, with twists and turns, and very complex.

The Bad: This film lasted a bit too long for me. It kind of needed to be long, but the pacing could've been a smidge faster.

Some parts of the film were hard to understand, but that's my IQ, so you can't really count this bad.

Overall: A very thrilling, suspenseful, action-packed, and complex action movie with twists and turns, light humor, and very good acting. A must-see for thriller fans! Overall, this is one of my favorite films of the year! 9/10.

Max Payne OFFICIALLY PG-13

Max Payne is officially PG-13 for violence including intense shooting sequences, drug content, and brief strong language. I am definately seeing this movie!
